FAQ – For the LovEvolution Gathering

When does the entrance open? The entrance opens at noon on Friday. Please do not arrive before noon.

What are the box office/check in hours? The box office is open from noon to 10pm on Friday and from 10am to 10pm on Saturday. Event will be closed to any new entries after 10pm Saturday.

When does the event end? All attendees must leave the campgrounds by noon on Monday. Be sure to bring the LovEvolution with you out into the “default” world 🙂

Is this event all ages? Yes, however, minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Do children need tickets? Kids 13 & Under are FREE.

Is there swimming? Yes, there is swimming hole area in the river.

Note – There is no life guard. Minors under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Can I still volunteer to participate? Yes. If you’d like to be considered for a volunteer staff position you are encouraged to contact our volunteer coordinator, Keith Sweezy, at

Will there be showers and bathrooms? Yes, showers and bathrooms will be available to both those staying in the cabins and tents. Bring your own towels and toiletries.

Where should I park? The vehicle parking area is in the open field near the main entrance. Attendees are welcome to drive to their bunkhouse or the drop off area for tent camping to drop off their gear. Then we ask that they move their vehicles to the parking area.

Will there be car camping? No. All cars must park in the general parking area. However, campers will be allowed to unload their camping gear near the tent camping area before parking in the general parking area.

Is camping and food included in the ticket price? Yes, general admission includes tent camping or a bed in a bunkhouse cabin and two free vegan meals each day (brunch and dinner).

Can I bring my RV or Bus? Yes, RV’s and Buses are allowed.

Does it cost extra to park an RV or Bus? No.

Are there hookups / electricity for RV’s? No. There will not be hookups or electricity for RV’s.

Will there be venders? To emphasize the gifting and sharing culture of this gathering, there is no commercial vending, including food vending. However, workshop presenters will be allowed to promote their services and related products.

What should I bring? Although two free vegan meals will be served each day (Brunch and Dinner), in the spirit of sharing and giving, bring the food you’d love to share during our communal meals.

Bring instruments to play at the dance and drumming circle and a heartfelt gift offering for the Sunday gift sharing circle.

Bring a flashlight for navigating at night.

Bring your grooviest outfit for the Summer of Love Party on the Flashback Magic Love Bus Saturday night.

Will there be kitchen facilities and refrigeration available? The main kitchen in the lodge building is off limits to attendees, per the decree of the vegan chef. However, there will be a spare fridge available for guest and ice available for coolers. The Magic Love Bus will also be offering outdoor cook stoves for those who would like to cook their own food, including meats.

Will there be an ATM (cash machine) on site? No. There will be no ATM on site.

Do I need to bring water? No, we will have free drinkable well water available. However, do BRING YOUR OWN REUSABLE WATER VESSELS!

Will ice be available? Yes.

Are there any dangers? There is the risk of evolutionary transformation. As well as, poison ivy, snakes and falling limbs from dead hemlock trees. Do not camp under trees with dead limbs.

Can I bring my renegade sound system into the camping area? No.

Is there cell phone coverage at the venue? Verizon is the only cell service with reception.
